He makes the point that musicians already accept “sonic deceptions” with no hesitation – amplification and microphones, effects like reverb and equalisation.

The use of these are not the “real, authentic, experience” but are readily accepted but there us such an issue with the use of backing tracks.

Why I thought this and changed my mind (nappies are expensive!!!) I hate Backing Track Bands – They are Killing Live Music!!!
